Default Identifying specifics on a Model 500

Performance Center Model 500
Serial JER0XXX
Registration 7076
Barrel is 7.5"

I have a friend that would like to trade a Model 500 for some other stuff I have. I cannot find this particular configuration anywhere to try to understand the value. I am trying to find out where I could go to find out some reliable information.

Is this a first or second generation?

Can it be identified as a custom (the frame is blacked while the cylinder is smooth stainless steel and has the look of the Bone Collector but not the logo)?

If custom, was it made to lower the cost or improve something?

Thanks for any help you can provide.
