I finally found a 27. It's a 27-5 with 5in bbl. I would love to know more about this revolver here's the sn #. thanks again for the information.

Good looking modern 27 (mid-80s, I'd guess... ?). Great that you found what you were looking for. Congratulations on the new sixgun!

Nothing else needs to be said. The Model 27 says it all. I have a 27-2. All I have to do is look at the highly polished deep blue, the pinned barrel, recessed cylinder, and the beautiful checkered top strap. I guess you could add the target sights, trigger and hammer. Then the wonderful trigger pull in both single and double action.
