Default 629-4 3 inch values

Just wondering if anyone has seen some recent sales of the pre-lock 3 inchers, and about what they are costing these days. Kind of lost touch with the market...

Thanks.

NIB are probably worth about $1200 but that can be +/- depending on the buyer.

Special production Backparker models my be asking for more.

If you intend on shooting the revolver then there's no need to buy NIB.

How much are you willing to pay>then stick to that amount.

There were lots of pre lock 3" 44 Magnums made so while a particular dash may make the search longer it's won't be all that long to find one.

I see them in the $700 to $900 range for nice shooters without the box.

EDIT: the 629-5 3" is pre lock but has MIM parts.

Hello, my 629-4 3" RB set me back 750 last year. I was glad to get it! You know the 3" smiths are getting harder to find!

That $750 looks like a bargain!

I think 629-4 was the best version.

I agree with the dash four being the best.

It has the performance package,no MIM and no IL.

The dash 5 intrduced the MIM parts

The dash 6 introduced the IL

A shooter grade 629-4 3" backpacker would be nice to own
