Had a couple of free passes to the range (which just means more money for ammo). I took 4 of my babies out to play, yesterday, after work: a 6" 686-6+, a 4" 629-6, a Springfield 1911 RO in .45 ACP, and a CZ 75 Compact 9mm. The revolvers fared very well against the 1911, and totally out-shot the CZ.
I was able to hit the bullseye and keep 3" groups at 25 yards (when I did everything right) with both Smiths (admittedly more difficult with the .44, but only because of recoil anticipation).
The most accurate guns for me, on this occasion were the 686 and the 1911, with the 629 real close. The CZ didn't shoot great for me, and I am thinking it has something to do with the dots on the sights not being bright enough.
Anyway, lots of fun! Here's the obligatory photo.
