Default Any significant differences between the M640 versions

Other than the obvious change to .357 from the earlier .38 version are there any real distinctions between them.

Considering the popularity of the M640 and the fact that with over 100 views nothing has been mentioned I guess it's safe to assume that there are no significant differences except for the change to 357.

I believe the sights are different on some of them.

The original 640 was a 1-7/8 inch barrel with an exposed extractor rod and fixed iron sight.

The move to .357 brought with it a jump to 2.125" lugged barrel and pinned iron sight.

That's the major stuff. Minor includes a -2 variant that was .38 only, the later addition of MIM parts and integral lock, and a Pro version with no lock, fluted barrel, curved rather than full lug, and night sights.
