New to me 686-3, 4"
Wasn't looking since I just recently bought a new 3" but it found me. And I let 3 weeks go by thinking surely someone would buy it. I offered $600 and he told me for 620 he'd throw in a set of N frame targets! I don't have an N frame but..... OK.
It's a 6 shot, 4" pre-lock square butt. Came with hogue rubber but I had an extra set of stocks.
There may be an N frame in my distant future .
Pics show N targets, my 3" and the 617 wanted in too.
SN is BHC5XXX, date it? Thank you!

Nice find, and it being a -3 no worries about the M modification. Doesn't appear to have been fired much from the appearance of the forcing cone.
The N frame stocks are a hint about your next purchase . Enjoy!

That is a great addition to your .357 collection. Good choice on those grips as well.

I don't know how I overlooked the price before... but damn, $600 for that pistol. You stole it brother... Nice pics too btw. There is just something about a Smith that just feels right when carrying/shooting.

I have a 2 1/2" 686-3 and I love it. That is a great gun at a great price. Now you have to find something to fill in those N frame stocks. A nice 28-2 or a 629-3 would fit the bill, I think a lot of the 629-4s have a round butt.

Yeah, I was surprised to see what they're worth. Excellent condition too, silver washer S&W's.
