New Grips For My New 63
Picked up my new Model 63 today to go with my Model 60 Pro. I put the wooden grips that came on the Model 60 on the 63 and wowzer, the 63 looks and handles so much better. I just order a pair of the Pro 60 grips for my 63.
Next I'm going to order a red tube front sight like the one that came on my Model 63 for my Model 60 Pro. The standard 60 Pro sight is too wide to get a light line in the sight picture when lining up with the rear sight. Also, I can't see the dot insert in the front sight unless I'm in bright sunlight.
I would also like to swap out the stock hammers for target hammers if they would fit. Finding target hammers for the J-frames might be a problem. The guy I ordered my grips from said J-frame target hammers were not available.
The 63 trigger pull is as light (by feel) as my 60 Pro. I was surprised. All's right in my gun world today.

Who doesn't like to pick up a new gun? My 1st range visit with new to me 17-2 was great yesterday. (1964) Tinking, not clanging steel plates at 25 yds like clockwork. Bob

My older 63 has a square butt, would those grips fit my 637 round butt J-frame?

They will fit on any RB J-frame. They kinda make it into a semi-square butt.

63 grips
Depending on how big your hand is, the magna's fit fair, and the Targets very well, for factory grips.

I tried to find some factory target grips for both my 60 and 63, but all I found were way over the top prices on ebay. I settled for a set of grips (like came on my 60 Pro) for my 63. They fit nice, although the new pair were very light in color compared to the darker finish ones came on my 60 Pro.
Thanks to all who posted, especially the photos.
