I have an 627-5 Pro and after adjusting the main tension screw I like the trigger better than my Python in DA and SA. I even shoot it more accurately than my Python. The 8 rounds sure is nice also. It is a big gun for sure but it is an N frame so big is what it is.
This is the PC version with the 5" barrel. I don't believe my Pro DA trigger is as high as 13 lbs. but then again I did adjust the tension screw which did make a felt difference over the stock setting.

SA action trigger pulls have typically run 4 to 4-1/2# from the factory on my revolvers, irregardless of whether it a standard production or Performance Center model.

The 11 lbs feels like 8 lbs because it is so smooth. I always try to set my DA at 8 if possible. But some guns are so smooth I can handle up to 11 lbs without a problem.
I like my SA at 3 lbs for hunting and at 2 lbs for bullseye and silhouette.
