Model 642-1

I just purchased a S&W 642-1. Serial # CDY004x.
I am looking for a date of manufacture, or ship date.
From it's shape (no mars, scratches or wear, I think it is fairly new. It is a "J" frame Airweight.

My book says CDYxxxx is February 2000
