I've done some searching on the forum as well as looking at auction pictures recently. What I have found so far is that the boxed 3" 547's I've found pictures of don't all have the same box contents 30+ years after they were made.

So the question is, what actually came in the box of a 3" 547 when new? I'm asking about both the paperwork and the cleaning tools.

Pictures would be greatly appreciated.

Anyone know if 3" guns had shorter cleaning rods than 4" units?
