Both grips a very nice.
Based on the photos I kinda like the old ones more (guess I am not real fond of shiny grips) but the new ones probably fit the hand better and are very nice looking.

The old ones are simply too small for my hands. I've had this gun for about two years and only shot once so far because it never fit my hand well enough for respectable range practice. I have another set of Culina K/L combats on a 3" 65 so I knew the answer to the problem. It just took me a while to get to it. The Culina's fit me perfectly.
