Default New 686 plus PC with a quirk

Greetings: Newbie here, interested in what you old pros can tell me re: brand new 686 plus Performance Center revolver 7 shot. Got a good Galco holster and it carries very well, conceals well too. However, when i load the cylinder, the rounds slip back out a little, actually make a sound. Didn't seem to prevent firing, but this didn't happen with my Ruger. Is this ever an issue? Pls advise

That's how I tell if it's loaded.

Give it a shake the rounds have clearance with the recoil shield. Normal and necessary.

Only the top bullet backed up to the firing bushing should be relatively close to the recoil shield. The others will have some play. You don't want a whole lot of drag on the cylinder when you pull the trigger.

Default thanks gentlemen

hope i got the right pronoun there; just breaking the 686 in, put about 75 round through it so far

shoots a little low, but have not adjusted rear sight yet

heavy gun but after a while i forget it's there, slightly longer on the draw and have to use right hand first to raise shirt, grab with left hand, then clear gun from holster at five oclock position

it took me two years to be a good shot with my ruger, i hope i can shorten that up with this 686
