Value of 340M&P?
I've had my 340M&P listed here and on another forum for over a week @ $500. It's in excellent condition (no box) and I'm throwing a new Desantis pocket holster & two speed loaders, but beyond a few nibbles & low ball offers, nothing. Am I asking too much or am I too impatient?

Old cop,
Price sounds reasonable enough but after just now re-checking your ad in the classifieds, IMO, lotsa folks like pics. You stated excellent condition and I'm not implying anything about you or the gun but some folks idea of excellent leaves something to be desired in grading firearms. Pics, either posted or emailed can also sometimes explain a lot about condition, features (with or without, lock isn't mentioned), etc, etc. Just my opinion and good luck with the sale.

Some of those guns also came with Crimson Trace grips so you might want to check and see what those are going for as well. Might be that the going rate for a 340 m&p with crimson trace grips and no lock might be going for the same price as yours......those are the variables I can think of that might affect a sale

I agree with jack the toad. The price I think is reasonable. Even in desperation I don't think I would take much less than $500 for mine. But as mentioned, a lot of people (myself included) lose interest if no pics. It won't turn off a guy who is actually looking for one but you lose all the guys who look at the pics and think "huh, well that's actually a nice looking pistol". I paid $450 for mine from another member and that was about 6 years ago. Those are a great little carry pistol and I don't know what I could replace mine with.

Thanks for the suggestion to include pics and I would if I had the means. Pretty low tech and still operate w/a flip phone.

Up until about a month ago, so did I.
I always thought I'd get a smart phone at some point but that darn old flip phone just wouldn't give it up. I recently had the opportunity to upgrade so I retired the flipper even though it still worked fine. Since then I have no regrets whatsoever. I guess my advice over this entire thread is consider getting a better phone. Pics are now so easy to take, post, manage, etc. I still don't live on my phone like some do but it is a convenience that I never realized until I did it.

You should also call around to some local gun shops and find out how much to ship it. Might not be a lot of members in the NVA area.
