I picked up a Model 64-5, Serial #BRE7** today. Can someone advise the DOB? Thx.

Looks like all of the usual sources have taken the weekend off. I picked up a 65-5 .357 police trade in last winter that is a little younger than yours. CBEXXXX.
64s and 65s are great sixguns. Enjoy yours!

Old Cop, I'm sure you know that the alpha serial numbers are a confusing morass of inconsistency. However, the Standard Catalog does show a BRE prefix in 1994. 64-6 came out in 1998, so 1994 could be close for your revolver.
