Default smith and wesson performance center 686 plus model 11760 vs 170346

I purchased the 2.5” PC 686 plus. This revolver is amazing but I now see that SW has a 5” PC 686 Plus. I’m torn because the 2.5” model is a little to big for ccw so if it’s a car or house gun is the 5” gun the better choice? I won’t ever carry the revolver and was thinking of selling and buying the 5” model. Do you guys have any opinions? They both have unfluted cylinders and PC tuned actions so major difference is barrel length. So what do you guys think? Get new revolver or keep the one I have. And I know I should get both but that’s not an option.

Thanks in advance

If you don't intend to carry the 2 1/2" then you'd probably get more use from the 5".

Agree. A 5" barrel is perfect for Home Defense and the range.
