Default S&W 686-7 .38 Super (? Cylinder Dimensions)

I'm very curious, in this Revolvers Cylinder Dimensions...
Is there any owners of the S&W 686-7 .38 Super Revolvers (produced in 2003), that could measure the Cylinder's Dimensions with calipers (Diameter & Length), specific to two (2) decimal places. Thanks in advance for any responses.

Thank You very much (GimmyGuns)... I've wanted this info for a couple of years now - I shoot 38 Super and 9x23mm in a Pistol (EAA Stock II), and would like to try them in a Revolver.

Any Other S&W Revolvers that you would Recommend (38 Super & 9x23mm), or is the 686-7 Performance Center (2003), the Best?

The dimensions on the 686 38 super are Diameter 1.555" and length is 1.430". I like this revolver very much but I am on the lookout for the 627 8 shot in 38 super. That would be the one to get in my opinion.

Default New gun

Finding an older 2003 686 38 Super would be difficult and expensive. However you could go to almost any gun shop and buy a new 986 or 929 which could be re-chambered for the 38 Super or even sent back to the factory for another cylinder chambered in 38 Super! These guns are already cut for 8 shots and moon clips!
I just purchased a custom 38 Super 8 shot over this forum and an waiting for delivery(it was cheaper than converting a new gun!)
