10mm wanna be....... Snub
I picked up a modified 625-4 about 2 years ago off Armslist, it had been cut down to 3.65" and a fibre optic sight installed. I got it for a decent price, but never seemed to shoot it much. A couple of months ago, one of the members here had a cut down 10mm barrel for sale, it was then that I knew what I was going to do. I bought the barrel, then started my search for a 10 mm cylinder. I found an old article on the internet about cylinder and slide doing some 10 mm conversions. By luck they still had 1 cylinder in the drawer. Picked up a .500 hammer and trigger, and sent it off to the gunsmith. Have not had a chance to shoot it yet, but hope to this week. The new barrel is just a shy under 3 inches with a DX front sight with red ramp, and slab sided barrel.
Will update with range report this week.

You say 10MM, can we presume the revolver is chambered for the 10MM Auto cartridge?
Or did C&S chamber the cylinder up for the 10MM Magnum cartridge?
I like that barrel, it will be lighter than the factory's 3" 610 but considerably heavier than the Scandium framed 2 1/2" 310NG

Nice, I Like it
I just picked up my second 610 last week. I don't understand with the resurgence of 10mm lately why S&W, one of the first companies to chamber Autos and revolvers in 10MM, doesn't bring the 610 back. I think the timing is right, or maybe it's just wishful thinking on my part.

No, I purchased the 10mm cylinder from them. It is an original 610 cylinder.

Nice ,something different you don't see everyday. Cylinder and Slide has a good reputation I have been toying with sending them a revolver for moon clipping your build kinda helps me along.

Yes, .327 Mag, .44Spl, .41 Mag and 10mm are hot as the giant army of new shooters over the last decade plus are starting to branch out from the common calibers they already have. Ruger and Henry got the memo, S&W is out to lunch.

If S&W made a model like that I would buy one today. Very nicely done!
