That is a super find! Those were only issued to
Investigators. Much fewer than the 681 issued to uniformed troopers. Never even seen a NYSP 65.

Very nice find.....that's a great gun to shoot &/or carry. Teamed with that style of Packmayr grips you have a real keeper IMO.

Very nice indeed. I have a couple of non-NY 3", RB, 65's. They seem to strike a good balance when it comes to weight and barrel length.

As far as the "NY" revolvers, I have a 4" Model 28 NYSP, and a 2" Model 64 NY-1.
