S&W Nightguard 41 Magnum
Hello, this is my first post on this forum an I'm hoping there is someone out there who can help.
Around 2010 I bought the nightguard in 41 magnum and I loved that revolver like I have loved none of my others. About a year later I took a friend with me to the range to shoot it and he fell in love with it too. He offered me almost twice what I paid for it so I sold it to him on the spot and told him he was an idiot. Little did I know, I was the idiot. I thought I would just go buy another one but I have never been able to find one since. Does anyone know where I should look to try and find one? I have tried gun stores, the internet, and a few local shows. I feel like there should be one (new or used) out there but I have yet to find one in 7 years. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Warm regards,
Brian

1- Post in the WTB section
2- Keep a careful eye on the BST section
3- Keep watching gunbroker
Be warned though, 41s are expensive in all forms. Usually north of $1,000.
I will forever kick myself for letting a model 57 4" round butt with combats go this past week for $655. But sadly my dog has to have an ACL repair and I had to back out of the bidding. =(

M357NG
Bpftc, Welcome to the forum.
The M357NGs are far & few between. I don't have any production numbers but it was likely one with a low quantity made.
The NGs came out in 2008 & the M357NG was added to the lineup in 2009 & cataloged in 2010 as well.
All the Night Guards are getting hard to find but once in the while they pop up. Unfortunately I don't have any secrets to share with you of where they hide.
Hopefully you'll be able to find one.

Night Guard Mdl 357 - 41 Mag

.
357NG - adjustable sights & Pachmayr Diamond Pro grips added

Best thing to do is join GunBroker and GunsInternational and use their wish list. Any time one gets posted for sale you will be notified.
I had both the 357 PD and NG and sold them both last year...and no regrets. I bought both new, replaced the IL with The Plug on both and they probably didn't have 100 rounds through them combined...to me they just were not pleasant to shoot even with the 500 grips on the PD. Both sold for over a grand.
Good luck in your quest...Bob

Buedotz37 how do you like those newfangled Pac grips? I almost bought a set, but I found a set of the old presentations and opted for them instead.

I use the Pachmayr Diamond Pro grips at the range & they do a great job in absorbing recoil. I like them better than the Pachmayr Compac Customs that they originally came with.

In last resort, try offering your friend double what he's paid for it!
Joking aside, even regular .41 Mag are few and far between;I've been looking for a 57 for more than 4 years now and didn't find one that suits me...yet!Good luck!

A couple years back (2015) I saw an add for a Stealth 44 mag. I gave him a call and he happened to mention he had a 41mag UDR unfired .. bought both.
