Default Need to know about my new Model 36

Hello guys, I've heard that you know all about this. I just got a used model 36 .38 cal Serial AAR7142. Need to know if is clean, year of production and average of sale price. Thank you all

1983 is a good guess, although the serial numbers with three letters can be confusing and AAR is not listed for 1983. So could be 1982 or 84. Not sure what you mean by "clean"? Value here without box, papers, tools, or the original wooden grips and with some muzzle wear and turn line would be in the $350-$375 range.

I've been buying all the nicer ones I've seen out in the $250-$350 price range for years now. Smith still makes them in the Classics line for around $750 MSRP. It's the gun everybody wants. . .pre-lock. If there were more available in the LGS, nobody would buy a new one.
