Default Apex Hammer in a 617?

Has anyone use a Spex Hammer? Does the Apex Hammer make a big difference or having someone like Clark custom work on my 617?
I run a 13lb trigger spring and stock main spring. I Polished as much as I could. Could not run a Wilson main spring. To many light strikes.
