They do that! I've never had one grab me by the arm. All of mine have been more subtle. They must know I prefer that approach.

Once bitten you will never be complely free from the affliction. I was more or less too occupied with business for about a decade or so which forced it into remission. However, like a pretty woman, a S&W would still catch my eye. In recent years the affliction as returned with vengeance. After acquiring one, I can’t wait to find the next one. Happy days!

Congratulations! The 681 is not an easy gun to find, especially in excellent condition at a fair price. Mine too, is accurate and a joy to shoot. The only thing I might add is that they are also beautiful. I put Ahrends Retro Tacticals without the finger grooves on mine.

I don't think the problem is with our addiction to revolvers. The real problem is with Safe Manufacturers. Dang their hide...they keep providing us with something to fill up.
