How much S&W "stuff" do you have on hand???
This could probably go in about any category here, but since I have more post 80 than pre 80 guns I thought that I'd post it here. So how much "stuff" are you hoarding?? Stuff like grips, cleaning kits, sights, boxes or the like that are just waiting for the "opportunity" to actually become useful?? For me I have 1 set of J frame grips, 3 or 4 sets of K/L sb targets with a set of factory combats, 3 or 4 sets of n frame targets with a set of factory combats, misc sets of hogue or pachmayer's, adaptor grips, numerous cleaning kits and screwdrivers, bangor punta boxes, as well as some newer cardboard boxes, various wax paper..and the list goes on. How much stuff do you have in your stash??
And as a hoarder, do you still buy it if you see it, don't need it, but it's at a good price???
Hello, my name is Todd.....and I have an addiction.....

I've got a reproduction Smith & Wesson metal sign. Maybe a couple of sets of K-frame Magna grips. One really UGLY set of K-frame target grips. And a Smith & Wesson holster for a 4" K-frame. 21-34 I think is the model number.

A bunch!
I have it scattered in several places so it don’t seem like a ‘lot’.
Been collecting it for a while, it just piles up!

Five guns and a T-shirt
Five guns I can think of and an S&W t-shirt. I've got an awful lot of stuff, but different brands. Wilson, RCBS, Frankford Arsenal, Lee, Kel Tec, Browning, Sig and a LOTTA other stuff. Stuff coming out of my ears and I try to run an economical gun house here.

I just like to have things like spare spring kits on hand and other small parts for when stuff breaks or wears out. I keep cylinder stops, trigger return springs, etc...

I am not a hoarder.....if I was I would be on TV !
I accumulate , wife calls me a Pack Rat.
My problem is I know I have item "A" , I just can't find it when I want to use it....So we buy another and this may happen the next time . Finding stuff is harder than just buying another .
I get it from my Dad, he always bought two of everything...called the second a back up or a spare. He didn't throw away much either , his outlook was " keep it , it's not eating any hay".
You're not a hoarder until they put you on TV !

I haven't been on tv, either.
I tend not to pick up bits and pieces I can't use 'cause it cuts into my gun money. I do buy a spare every now and again.

I have all the N/L frame screws in blue and stainless. 3 or so 14lb recoil springs. Lots of extra s&w specific screwdriver bits from Brownells. I have one extra set of L frame target grips and a few various Hogue grips in square/round butt configurations. Both my 29-3 and 29-6 have the original cardboard boxes. My 686-6 and 69 have the plastic box. Also have one stainless hammer nose/rivet and spring for an N Frame since I have 3 guns with those. I have some factory S&W 38 special rounds that a retired LEO friend gave me.
I have one S&W hat and one t-shirt.

If it’s a Smith hammer, trigger, screw, spring-
And it’s cheap,
Yes! I will buy it.

I've lost count. I did try herding my stocks at one point but gave that up as well.

Not much but new Thailand stocks for all my s&w’s. If I choose to take one n frame on a dinner date or out on the town I can dress her up. I do pick one to take out for some fresh air. It’s stuffy in the safe.

I'm just an admitted packrat. I have so many odds and ends of S&W (and other gun) stuff stashed around the house I'm constantly discovering things I had forgotten I even had! Of course the other side of that coin is that I can seldom find the actual thing I'm looking for.

My wife stated that I have way too much and I agree, however I am still packing it in and will continue to do so. I turn 70 in a few days and I feel life is too short to not have enough " plunder" on hand at any given time.

I've accumulated boxes upon boxes of grips (wood, rubber, factory, aftermarket), screws, springs, cylinders, barrels, hammers, etc. Not sure why the heck I bought barrels. Don't know how to change a barrel.

Couple pair of S&W non checkered grips one pair is on my 1937 Brazilian 45. One or two prop rods, two knives, one fixed blade and the other folds into the handle and last but not least a brass S&W belt buckle. Frank
