A S&W Classic 45 Colt
Congratulations on your new purchase.
That Revolver appears to be in great condition.
Please give us a Range Report after you shoot.
I to have been looking for one of those. Someday

This month the S&W population in my safe went from from 1 to 4. The new purchases all in 45 Colt. Must be a Navy thing.

Nice 625!
It took S&W so long to finally get serious about building a great 45 Colt, in no small part due the long standing rivalry between S&W and Colt. The early 25-5s often have their accuracy issues. The 25-5s under L-S ownership may have lost the pinned barrel, but shot amazingly! My brother had a late 25-5 with 8 & 3/8" barrel. We shot it out to 200 meters with cast bullets.
I hope your 625 is a total winner!
Congrats!

Very nice, congratulations. I was fortunate to snag an SDS in August 2013 from a Forum member. Not NIB, actually a no-box shooter, but desirable nonetheless. Glad to have it! Enjoy!

You can't go wrong with a S-S "N" frame 45 Colt. Great fun to shoot. Well done.

I want a model of 1950 in .45 Colt. I saw two at Tulsa about 100 feet apart, one was priced $12,000.00 the other was only $9,000.00. They both looked new with boxes. I am still in the wanting stage.
