Default S&W 432 PD STICKY CYLINDER CHAMBER

I have a 2005-vintage S&W 432 PD revolver in .32 H&R Magnum (6-shot). I really love this little gun for concealed carry, but I have one problem with it. One of the cylinder chambers is "sticky" and repeatedly will not allow the fired brass to eject smoothly. I always have to pull this one spent cartridge out by hand, really slowing down my reload time.

Would honing (polishing) the 6 chambers in the cylinder correct this problem, or would it just cause other issues? Any knowledgeable opinions would be appreciated.

I have a 432PD (and a 431pd) and suspect your one chamber could be improved by a brush wrapped with bronze/copper wool and put on your cordless drill. Using a little Hoppe's or other cleaner run it in and out and polish the chamber (do them all). The 32 H&R is a fine cartridge.

This load in the 432 exceeds 1000 fps from the 1 7/8 " barrel.

Looking forward to responses.

I have a sticking problem with my 431pd on all cylinder holes -- but only with Buffalo Bore +p loads

I have also heard (from several sources), that 32 H&R Buffalo Bore +P loads are very "sticky". I purchased some of these cartridges, but I haven't shot them yet. I wanted to get the "one sticky chamber" issue settled first.

I use a flex hone with oil on a cordless drill, followed by a piece of Scotchbrite wrapped around a .22 cleaning brush. You can cut the Scotchbrite to the size and shape you want it with scissors. You can get caliber specific flex hones from Brownell's. If they don't have the size you need, go up one caliber.
