Default Model 327PD 357 Magnum?

I was watching a Gunbroker auction on one of these and it sold for $2534.00 plus shipping. Why so high? I assume there were not many made. Looks similar to the 329PD, but in an 8 shot 357. Do any of you have one?

Ugh why do I have to discover the good models once they’re discontinued?!

My GF has one as a principle carry weapon. It is very, very nice. Kind of unpleasant to shoot with full power ammo though. She doesn't do that very often.

Agreed. Maybe a perfect 327JM in case for that kind of money, and that would be a stretch for me.

I can't see how it would be near as unpleasant as the same gun in 44 Magnum, or even worse, one of the little 12 ounce J frames in 357. If I were going to carry a 4 inch N frame 357 all day, the 327PD looks like the ideal choice. There were no others for sale on Gunbroker, so they must be rare.
