Before Uncle Sam's Air Force issued me a Model 15 I was a Colt guy.
I've been a Smith guy (with a lot of Colts) ever since.

The posters labeling themselves
as reprobates and perverts while
only showing one or two Combat
Masterpieces are flattering them-
selves.
Such egos! Yuck.

Some of my favorites. I guess I need to dig them all out and take some more pictures.

Well, mostly because I like 357 guns, but I don't give a hoot about shooting 357 ammo in them. Why bother? A paper target doesn't take a lot of killing, plus I've got coffee cans full of 38 ammo, and zip lock bags full of more brass.
I don't even know how many 357 GUNS I've owned over the years, but I'll bet I haven't fired 500 rounds of 357 ammo in them.

I hope that the sharp-tongued OP didn't do any serious damage to his cheek.

No need to thank me. Doing good is it's own reward.

I tried to offer a similar service several months ago, it seems that in some post the 40 S&W was declaired dead , and owning a pistol in 40 S&W was an embarassment that could humilate your family for generations and even lower fertility rates. I would not only accept the guns thru my FFL , but also all ammo, holsters reloading supplies ect. The response has been underwhelming. Best of luck with your effort.

^^^ I imagine folks are just SOOOOOO embarrassed that they are keeping thier 15s and .40S&W (and horrors thier .40S&W chambered Model 15s) hidden deep in thier sock drawers, lest the shame of thier existence become known when they are shipped.
