"Dressed to the nines": cowhide + wood
Granted, a bit corny, but you tell me if it applies to the collaborative work Craig Spegel did on the grips and Von Ringler did on the leather for my 940. Neither knew of the others' work, but it appears to me they worked in sync to make this happen.

Not quite as traditional as an engraved nickel W&K but will be fine for a modern barbecue. Spegel grips look pretty while remaining businesslike. Love the floral carving on the Von Ringler leather!

Wow, how nice! Had no idea Von Ringler did that kind of leatherwork. What was the turn around time on the holster? I know about Spegel.

I met Von at the Cody gun show in early December. I had my 940 and 547 with me so I ordered holsters and a belt. I had the leather in hand in mid-February, about the time Craig called to let me know my name had surfaced on his list. I received Craig's box with the grips yesterday.
I would have included Von's leather and Craig's grips for the 547, but it's back at the mother ship right now, for what customer service told me would be an 8 - 12 week turn-around for light primer strikes. I'll post Von and Craig's handiwork for it when I get the 547 back. Equally as stunning, to be sure.

What do you call that type of holster? I really like it, and would love to have one for my 940. I am either a serious copy cat, or it is very Beautiful!!! You pick!! lol I'd also like a Moon Clip carrier the same wAY.

The holster style is called a pancake. I wear it at 4 o'clock, and it's perfect.
No such thing as a copycat 'round here; we're all learnin' from each other.
I have no doubt Von could fashion a moon clip carrier to match.

It would be nice to see a moon clip pouch that holds both 38spl and 357 clips side by each. That would look great with my 627.

That looks to be a well balanced revolver, in a great caliber too... and those stocks I'm sure make for a great grip profile...
I like the design, cut, and stitching of that holster for sure. The flower design and such certainly isn't my cup of tea... but I have to admit... it's beautifully done and looks like the work of a true artist. Nice rig OP. I appreciate you sharing!

Yes. Good eye.
I sent it to the factory to replace a broken firing pin/spring, and it came back this way. I suppose I'll find a replacement screw at a gun show one of these days.
Here's the shot before its trip to the factory. Flitz cured most of the ills in the finish, but it could fix that screw. :-)
