Default S&W 986 Performance Center 9mm?

Thanks for the replies to my Model 66 post.

However, I think that I could shoot a 9mm far cheaper than
.38/357 Magnum.

I actually do with my 4.5 inch NM BLACK 38/357 Magnum..
that al;so has a 9mm cylinder.

So, the possibility of a 986 PC snub might be there for me.

Who has one, or is interested in this 7-shot Nine?

I have one and like it. Very accurate and very little recoil. I am a law enforcement officer and have to qualify with it annually. At the first qualification session I was failing miserably on the daylight qualification. Finally another officer noticed that the front sight was about to fall off the gun. I sent it back and they replaced the sight and did some other work and now it is a great shooter.

I have small hands and the factory stocks don't fit me. I had trouble trying to decide on what to put on it.

Ended up going with these.

I may not be objective where 9MM revolvers are concerned:

Those Pachy professionals have graced several of my K/L frames over the years. Interesting L frame.

Nice! I'm thinkinking that If the new gun laws pass in oregon, that WA will be right there as well.

We never thought that Wa would ban private sales, but they sure passed than measurement.

The same will also proably be true this November, and I will need a
ILS revolver with more firepower than my current KLCR.

This leaves me looking at the new Model 66 2.75 or the 986 PC for
carry.

IS there a way to reduce the double-action trigger pull on the 986 PC, but still be able to set off primers?
