Just got my 686+ back from S&W. Sent it in on Nov 28. Had the action job done on it. WOW!!!! Haven't had a chance to go to the range yet but the double action is smooth as silk and break's like glass....Great job S&W...

Glad to hear something positive about Smith & Wesson. Sounds like time and money well spent.

I sent a Model 15 back last year for refinishing and they also tuned it up and it now has the smoothest double action of all my Smith revolvers.
Glad to hear good comments on their work, I have nothing but good things to say for them.

I sent a 686-1 to them several years ago for the "combat revolver" work up they were doing then that included an action job. When it came back it had one of the smoothest actions I have ever felt. They also did the modification that the -1 needed. It is still one of my best shooters.
