Default Smith & Wesson Shop tool

I was watching an old gun program last night & they were promoting the S&W Pro series of firearms. At one assembly point a what appeared to be a 686 Pro was being fitted. What caught my eye was his cutting of the ratchet pad. He did it in 6 1/2 strokes in less than 15 secs. using a very exotic & specific tool. That old boy had it done in a heartbeat. As having painstakingly hand fitted several new ratchet pads by hand with a #1 #2 Barrette, does anyone know where these tools can be gotten from? It was a first class piece & I'm sure Smith isn't ready to part with any. (I'm assuming each frame size would require it's own cutter & handle). Empowered with one of those tools & modern CNC parts, refits would go much more quickly. Does anyone know where this mysterious and obviously quite pricey tool can be gotten from?
Thank you & as always Safe Shooting - overthehills

Most likely those tools are made in the S&W Tool Room so about the only way you'll ever be able to acquire one will probably by having a relative who works in that Tool Room.
