Default S&W 64-3

Yesterday I found a very nice condition 64-3 with Uncle mikes grips and a heavy barrel in our local ( Billings Montana) Cabelas gun library. Hard to pass up looking at a Smith revolver isn't it? Evrything checked out to the good...had an agency or inventory number electro penciled on the left side just in front of the grip....big deal it is a shooter!

You all know the rest of the story, yeah it became mine after filling out a 4473.....out the door $265.00. Montana doesn't have a sales tax!

They also have a nice condition 3913 ith a straight dustcover for $349.00!

I took the newest acquisition to the range and shot some 158 gr SWCL with 5 gr of Unique at 10 yards....oh my, this revolver REALLY likes that combination!

Congratulations....nice shooter.
My model 64 now gets the most range time.
Try 2.7 grains of Bullseye and that 158 gr. SWC , 15 shots go into one ragged hole....sweet shooting and accurate paper punching .
