Default SW 342 Airlite Ti

My accidental auction win.....this is what happens when you forget about a bid and then get a winning bid notice.

1999 342 Airlite Ti.

I just got mine back from S&W. It was spitting lead but now appears to be fixed.

Mine doesn't look that good anymore, lots of pocket carry use. You may wish to consider a rubber grip if you are going to shoot that revolver. Recoil is substantial.

I have had one for a long time. Changed the boot grip that came on it for a Hogue Grip. Much more comfortable to shoot, not to mention more controllable. My EDC here in Florida most of the year. When cold I may carry my Model 36.

I've been carrying my first 342Ti pretty much from when they were first introduced around 1998(?). Mostly in a pocket holster as an on duty BUG. I happened across another one a few years later, at a LGS, ANIB, and that's still in the box.
The first one was showing a lot of external wear and tear, so a few years ago I had it re-finished with Walt Birdsong's Black-T, still going strong! If it’s not with me in a pocket holster, it’s riding in an ankle rig...
