Default Calling all AST 629's

Many of you know that I was lucky enough to run across this 629-3 that was made for the Alaska State Troopers in 1997. Yes, a 629-3 made in 1997. That's S&W for you. Nothing is for sure. They made 15 guns in the Mountain Gun configuration, but were not marked as such. They also have all the -4 features, as far as I can tell. This one has been well used and somebody did some work to it. I had noticed how smooth the action was but never measured the trigger pull until today. My gauge shows a 6 pound double action pull and a 2 pound single action pull. It has to be one of the smoothest revolvers I have. Mine is AST0004, and I know where AST0002 and AST0007 are. It would be fun to track down the others. Anybody have one of these guns, or more info??
