Default My Model 19-7 2 1/2

So I bought this new gun a million years ago. Actually closer to 28 years ago. I was a young 2LT stationed at Ft. Benning, GA. Needless to say I couldn’t afford this gun. I still have the box and the receipt. I’m too lazy to get to get in the attic and see what I paid. If I recall correct it was like $325 dollars. I couldn’t afford it at the time but my dad convinced me that I would love this gun. It was the first of many S&W’s that I would own.

So this gun came with ugly *** Rubber Combats. I just took them off for the 1st time in 28 years and replaced them with these stags. I found them EBay for $79.

I was afraid to look at the Grip area but was pleasantly surprised to find everything in as good a shape as the rest of the gun.

They definitely add some class to this old warhorse that has thousands of rounds down range.

Now I’m thinking I may send this old warhorse off to be engraved. Any recommendations to do the work?

Beautiful revo... And I hate you by the way! 28 years of hating the grips and just getting around to changing them... I laughed at that comment just a little bit! Good choice on the stags! You mention engraving... What kind of engraving do you wish to do to that classic beaut?
