No two ways about it. I have model 67 as well as several model 15s. They are not for sale. I would say that anyone that does not have one should. They are drying up and going up in price. The pre lock ones that is. I have no experience with the current production K frames. Not really looking to either.
My 67-6 has the lock and has a one-piece barrel and came with a set of Crimson Trace round-to-square butt conversion grips.
As I understand it the two piece barrel started with the 67-7.
IMO, mine is just as good as my 15-5 with the advantage of being stainless steel.
Mine is a -3 LEO trade-in.
After cleaning and tuning, it's my field pistol silhouette gun.
I use a +P 160 grain handload in it.
Very accurate out to 100 yards.
Before:
I have a -5 with a 1 piece barrel but everything else purists hate. Bought brand new, sent it off to Frank Glenn and just asked him to make it right which he did as the action/accuracy is phenomenal. I added a set of Culina combats and this revolver is one of my absolute favorites.
