You know I have seen plenty of 2" model 10s and model 15s.
But I do not think that I have ever seen a 2" model 64 or a 2" model 67. Did they ever make such a thing? I am thinking not.

I think I’ve seen 2” 64s, but definitely no 2” 67s.

One of these days I'm going to run up on a 2" model 64 when I have some money in my pocket.
I can't remember ever seeing a 2" model 67....or a model 65 for that matter.

They made lot's of 2" 64's, I've got two myself. The 67 was only made as a 4", got one of those also. When you consider how many 2" 15's were sold it seems odd that they never offered a 2" 67.

Yep, they sure did (make 2” Model 64s, that is) . Here’s a shot of mine for reference. Good shootin’,

I've got a 2" model 64. I'm in the market for a 2" model 10, or even better a 2" model 15!

I've got a 2" Model 15 and think it's one of the coolest handguns in my safe. I can see where a stainless Model 67 in 2" would be a desirable piece.

I’m on the lookout for some RB checkered targets for my 2” 64, but I don’t see many and dang they’re spendy. The stock RB magnas are just a little bit small for my hand.

Now, that one has some character! I like it!
I'm on the look out for a 2" model 15 myself, especially in nickel.

This might be something that may work for you. Herrett round butt targets. I have the same magna issue. BK grip adapter did not help. Bob

For a long time I couldn't swing a cat and not hit a 2" Model 64. There was one just last week at my LGS.
And of course, I have no interest in them at all.

I had a nice 2" 64. At the time I just didn't see the point of a 2" K framed 38 so I sold it. I felt it was too big for me to pocket carry and no need for a 2" barrel for holster carry. I kind of wish I kept it now.

A pristine M64 alongside an M10. Love the 2” K frame!

I have all three. Funny thing is that I wasn't really
on the lookout for any one of them. They just
sort of appeared and at the right prices. Can't
say that I'm a big fan of K-frame snubs.
But isn't that how it works?
If I'd been out roaming the countryside for
them, I'd probably never have found them.

Detectives carried model 64 2" in my first department starting in 1977. The old timers were sorry to give up their Detective Specials, but they were worn out after almost 20 years of use.

I had a 2" Mod. 64 twenty or more years ago. For the purpose of concealment, it was not a great choice, though much easier to shoot well than the a 2" J-frame .38. Everything is a compromise, I suppose, but I could see little advantage to a 2" barrel over a 4" barrel with a K-frame gun. In this case, the large frame hinders the concealment aspect more than 2" of additional barrel length does.

Model 15
Here is my 15-3 from 1971. Don't shoot it very much, for some reason always seem to gravitate to my M&P 1 7/8" for short barrel shootin.

I had a 2" 64, with a factory bobbed/DAO hammer. Great carry gun. It may be considered blasphemous around here, but I actually preferred carrying it to the 3" 65 I also had at the time.
Don't think I've ever seen a 2" 67, but the adjustable sight guns were never really an interest of mine.
If you really want rare, try finding a 2.5" Model 10. IIRC, they were made for the FBI before the 3" 13 was issued. I think there are a few of them floating around out there.
