Default Model 36 38 SPECIAL

Picking up a M36 in nickel s/n AEl22xx it’s in good to fair shape.
From what I can figure out it was made in 84 Feb. paying $425.00 .
Maybe a little high by fifty buck but I am in ny. Any help on the date and price ? Thank in advance Pierre

Anyone know if the date and what it’s worth is correct?

Pictures are pretty much essential for an estimate of value.
I bought a 95% example from the early 70's (floating J serial #) for $320 last year - but that was an exceptional price.

You're welcome.
I believe your serial number will date to about 1985 give or take a year or so, but I don't have the book to be able to confirm that.

This is the model 36 which I just pick up. I think it in very good shape for it's date.
