Model 586 info?
Hi fellas and ladies, I am new to the forums and Smith and Wesson ownership in general. I recently purchased a model 586 and if possible would like to know about how old Aislin is. Serial is ADM8310.

So far I love her. Something about the feel of a big heavy revolver that just feels good. Been an automatic owner till now (Springfield XD, Glock, Cz) already want another one, maybe in .44 this time.

Has it had the recall done? Look adjacent to the model number under the yoke and see if there is an "M" stamped there - indicating it has been done. If not, the recall is still open. Use the search function on here to see what it's all about and decide if you want to have it done.
Congrats on a fine firearm.
Adios,
Pizza Bob
