NM State Police 586
Found this in a case at a local gun shop a few weeks ago. I passed the info along to some NMSP retirees, so I doubt it is still there. I noticed on page #297 of the SCSW (4th) it mentions "New Mexico Highway Patrol: reported, but no details available." I think it is fairly safe to say that this gun is probably one of those. It is a "Golden Anniversary" gun commemorating 50 years of the NMSP. I thought the group here would like to see what they look like. Sorry for the poor cell-phone pictures.

My agency used the same gun back in the early ‘90s and I was too cash strapped to get one & I’ve been trying to get one ever since retiring in ‘97.

I was in there late last week and did not see it. I don't own a 586 so I might have been tempted. So let's hope one of our current or retired troopers snagged it.

Definitely! Loyola's has a great steak and enchiladas combo. They were filming BCS at my office building last week. It really upset some of our employees when they blocked handicapped spaces with their equipment carts.
