Model 629 wood replacement grips - fit?
Does this pic look like I have square frame grips on my round grip N-frame? I can't remember who made them but they fit tight and it shoots fine. The back frame on the grip just doesn't look/fit right to me.
Thanks!

Those would be K-square grips on an N-round frame, so they are double wrong

FYI: I'm 95% sure those are Hogue grips/stocks.

I've never cared for anything square but myself... frame or grips. YMMV... Swap them for a comfortable pair of round butts OP if it bothers you the way I think it does; it's easy enough with Altamontco.com and Numrich!

Double Fail
Live and Learn! Think I'm going to look for something similar that fits. I really like that look and feel on the .44. Thanks for all the replies.

I have a set of S&W square butt grips on the rounded butt gun, but these where made for it and fits much better, although nothing like proper square butt grips on a square butt gun.

Something like these should work in N frame (Hogue). They are round to square conversions. You can check them out on their site if you wish. (K/L) Bob
