I am not seeing a specific reference to CHY in my SCSW. CHM and CSR serials were in July 2004.

The serial number prefix CHY was in common use on new guns during.....
January - February 2005.

CAL D.O.C. is right now finishing their conversion to Glocks from the Model 64. There are likely to be a fair number of them showing up on the used market. If you get a range gun (not issued to a post but used only on the range) it could be pretty well used. Parole issue guns would be good too, carried much and shot very little.

I Suspect this revolver was carried some very little signs of use , revolver is tight with no holster rash at all .
