340 PD with Red Ramp Front Sight
My LGS has two of them, brand new. Selling for $775. I thought they all came with Hi Viz sights, website does not show with Red Ramp. Anyway, that is probably why he is selling for $775. Has anyone else seen these?

Thanks, Mister X!
I did not see that when I looked up. $775 is not a bad deal on these. I'm considering one, always wanted one. We will see!

My daily carry is a red ramped 340PD with the internal lock. Have carried it I would guess 6 or 7 years.

red ramp revamp
I bought my 340pd with no lock and the red ramp, and have since installed a green fiber optic sight. The fiber optic sight that will fit to replace the red ramp is NOT the same as a stock fiber optic sight that would come on a 340 with a lock..the barrel shroud is different if you put both models next to each other it will be apparent. So if you later decide to switch to a fiber optic front sight make sure you order the correct one to fit the style that fits the shroud that the red ramp has.

I bought my no lock 340PD a little over a year ago and it has the red ramp front sight too. It’s hard for me to aquire quickly and I may change it, just have not decided on what yet.

night and day
Old Cop, for me it is a night and day difference. The dot of the fiber optic just jumps out and for most lighting ,even pretty low light it's the cats meow. The sun can be well into the horizon and shadows long and I still find the front sight a lot better, and when it gets dark enough to not light up the optic it's no worse than the ramp.I walked around with the fiber optic sight in my hand and compared it in many different lighting situations to the red ramp before changing it out. It became obvious to me that in all situations my eyes like the green dot better. It isn't a night sight for sure, but for me it's a improvement I can see in my groups on the paper.

I have the M&P 340 with the XS night sight which is good for me however I keep my stuff long enough to know that in time the sight will go dark.
Have not tried a fiber sight yet but the time is near for that.
