Serial # help 642-2
A friend of mine wants to date a 642-2. She gave me CSD0524 as the serial #. Is this a complete # and if so can someone give me an approx. Mfg. year?
Thanks,
Jeff

I can’t find a CSD. I have CSL in 2010. CSB and CSJ in 2011. If she has the little envelop with the spent shell, it may have a date on it. CSP and CSV 2012. CSR 2004

The CSD serial number prefix was being inscribed on new revolvers during....
November - December of 2011.
