Hi, I purchased a Model 640 (no dash) this morning.
I can't pick it up until June 1st, and I feel like a kid on Christmas.

The year of MFGR would be a big help.

BTW. I picked up a Model 36 today and after spending 20 minutes on the phone waiting for Smith and Wesson customer support I used the feature on their website to send them a message. They mailed me back the manufacturing year, 1969, in two hours. Give it a shot if you are looking for a manufacturing date.

That way no one will ever have a reason to come to the Forum and ask a question, see a picture, or have a discussion. Eventually, we can just shut it down and save all the electrons.
