Non-Factory/Replacement Grip Stocks
Let's see your Non-Factory/Replacement grip stocks.
I have replaced the grips on three of my S&W revolvers. All of these grips came from Altamont.
S&W Model 15-4 with faux pearl.
S&W Model 36 with Santos Redwood Boot.
S&W Model 34-1 with Walnut Fleur-de-Lis
Thanks for looking at my replacement grips.
God bless,
Birdgun

I am partial to Herrett's. Put these on my 29-3. They are a little too big for me due to the closed back. They are off now. Sure like the looks though. They feel good until you fire rounds. Bob

66 & Spegels
66-2 w. Ahrends, 66-1 with Pachs (local Sheriff issued revolver, Pachs were put on by whoever carried it)
610-2, Pachmayr Diamond Pros...not near as pretty as wood, but for shooting they're very comfortable grips.
686-4+ w. modified Ahrends
Esmaraldas. Too pretty for the 342 that i carry on occasion.

Not pretty, but oh so comfortable shooting .44 Mags. Love the wood, horn, ivory, etc. -- just don't work for me when shooting.

I do not know if you have tried this or not. I find that wearing a shooting glove when shooting heavier loads helps out a lot. Bob

Yes, I've tried gloves which help with single actions but not the DAs. It's the bone at the base of my thumb that gets hammered unmercifully by the "hump" of the double action revolver. Single actions no problem.

My typically poor fitting Altamonts. I corrected most of the backstrap fitting, removed about 3/16" from bottom and added medallions. I complain about the fitting but I really like the way these feel in my hands
