Congrats on everything working out to your satisfaction! You may be right about GB, but like ebay, GB can be a gamble. It could have sat there for months before selling or you could have run afoul of some of the shadier characters that populate the site. You're happy, the other member is happy, win - win. The only loser is Cajun Lawyer. I agree - 6 magic beans can be very hard to come by, but you'd have to check state laws to make sure they were legal in your location. Plus California says they've been known to cause cancer in laboratory mice.

Default Quick Update

The trade on the Ashland is now a done deal. Got the no dash 617 that I've been searching for. Range time...what have I done? First cylinder grouped like my 12 gauge at 50 yards. Second six little better and the third cylinder on grouped a little over an inch at 25 yards supported on a sandbag. Guess it just needed to get over being clean.

The Ashland went to a Forum member here. He took delivery today and seems very happy with the trade. Might have gotten a couple more magic beans on GB but that still left me looking for the 4" no dash 617. Two happy campers now.....glad the Ashland found a good home.
