Default New 629 4” addition

Evening all,

I added the above mentioned 629 to our growing family of Smith revolvers. Try as I might to find one used, I gave up and bought new after careful inspection. I brought it home to our farm and tested her out.

Not the accuracy of my longer barreled 629’s but awfully nice and in a package that could be carried when in the woods during our hunting seasons. No doubt more than needed in western pa and Ohio but the occasional trip out west will be right at home.

Had to move the sights a little up and Little right. After adjusted, it shot decent groups at 10, 20 and even 30 yards. When I stretched her to 50 yards I could see the difference in the longer barreled guns.

Many thanks to all the past suggestions and pictures of this fine specimen from past posters. You all present pics that for some of us, the only way to scratch the itch, is by purchasing our own to enjoy.

Best,
Rick
