Default S&W 29-3 Classic Hunter Value

I have someone wanting to trade this revolver for a scope I am selling. I can't find much info about this blued version of the classic hunter. He says lock up is tight, no box just the revolver.

What is it worth?
Also how does it feel in the hand compared to a 6" 629?

I’ve got a 29-5 Classic Hunter, with the normal fixed ramp front sight rather than the silhouette adjustable one. Great gun, very sturdy, and a pleasure to shoot, although recoil with .44 Mag is quite noticeable.

Double action work is slower due to heavy non fluted cylinder, and maybe harder on the gun too. I mostly shoot it single action.

Can’t help with the value as I live in Switzerland (here abt. $ 1000).

That 29-3 was a Lou Horton special run of about 5000. At least 750.
