Nice Find Today
Was looking on the local forum last night and saw a Model 27-4 for sale. Couldn’t tell much with the pictures but price was right, so contacted the seller. Said all the right things so I rolled the dice and took an hour drive today in the pouring rain to check it out. Glad I did! Picked up this close to new 6” Beauty for $600. Looks almost new. iPad pictures really don’t do this beauty justice. No blue wear at all. Slight turn line. Only thing I found was some lead build up around the forcing cone and a little Barrel leading. Got it cleaned up and weather permitting, I will get it filthy tomorrow. Has one of the smoothest actions I’ve ever felt and a nice sa trigger.

$600 on any N-frame is a good deal. On a M27 it's golden. Congrats.

That -4 has all the goodies, save for the P&R, which wouldn't stop me from buying it!
Additionally, the -4 may have worked in your favor with that unbelievably low price.
Enjoy it in good health.

That was a STEAL. Very classy revolver. Full target package. Nice...!! I for one like the long barrels, especially if you shoot them often.

Congratulations! I would do that deal any day! A 27 still eludes me. At least I have my 28 no dash. Bob

Looked for 2 years before I found my first one 6-8 months ago. Haven’t seen another one til yesterday and was actually offered another one last night but is a nickel with finish issues. Rust and pitting. It is 8 3/8 and would love to have as a shooter but owner thinks it’s worth a fortune.

Eddie,
That's a fine example you've got, there! -& for six bills!
I'm seeing a trend in my hunting grounds in that revolvers are gradually sliding downward in price due to the newer generation of gun buyers. We all know what these folks want, and it's not revolvers. Good for you, good for me, and good for us!
I shared on this forum last Fall that I had gotten a pristine 627-0 for just 8 bills -out the door! The seller specialized in ARs and AKs and really didn't see much value in a heavy. 357 magnum revolver. (My kind of seller!)
I'm happy for you! She's a beauty!
